Well today was a sunny day and I finally got to put some washing on the line without having to keep running out and rescuing it from the rain!
Today I have been playing, bug catching, schooling, painting, drilling, knitting and shopping (not in that order!).
Here are some snippets -
Some tea sets that I bought from the carboot on Sunday -
What do you think?
Some of the dolly pegs - however these are not the final product - I bought candy pink, organic green and duck egg blue paint as well today so will post properly when done!
Love all the photos ;-) Glad you had a fun day, I too had some fun in the sun.
ReplyDeletewhat do you think about the cake stands and pegs? Can you help with pricing x
Deletelove the cake stand and the pegs, as for prices not sure, depends on how much you put into them?
DeleteHi Wendy ,I'm loving the cup and saucers stand !!!! I too enjoy making dolly pegs like this , I always use a final coat of yacht vanish on the painted part just to help weather proof them ( you do have do be careful not to use too much vanish as it runs ). As for your question above about pricing I usually sell mine for £2.25 for eight(this is at fundraising events ) , but I have seen them selling for £3.00 for eight .Hope this helps .
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your dolly peg project , with kind regards Tracy.
Thanks for popping by Tracy, its lovely to have you. I actually saw your dolly pegs on one of your photos and they are amazing. I have got some varnish and once I have finished the ones I'm doing I'm going to varnish them all at once. How do you manage to do ur white spots is there a special tool? I have managed to a degree but its hard work!. I saw some on the internet - 10 for £5 whick I thought was a bit excessive. I originally made them for some friends but liked them so much thought I would try them on my stall too x
DeleteI like your rosy china and the pegs.
ReplyDeleteI love your teacups and the cake stand is fantastic, I am very jealous :) x
ReplyDeleteThank you chick - I am thinking of trying to make some as an addition to the crafts on my stall but not sure what people would pay don't want to overcharge but want to make some profit! x
