Opening day!

Well today was the opening day for MOOCH, a new café and gift shop in Padiham.  I popped in and the shop looked amazing, everything was just lovely and the owners had done a fabulous job!

They have a page on facebook if you want to see the before and after shots, please click here.

I went on Wednesday to stock up my little space and I have to say I found it quite stressful and it took a long time as I had to get it just so.  I also had some new additions to my crafty family which I love lots and lots.
My little girl helped with the tags and names.  She used her friends from pre-school (I'm not allowed to say Nursery) and told me what they like to do!

It's not perfect but I've already had a few enquiries and I have made my first sale too!  A lady came into the shop yesterday for a sneaky look and bought one of my neckwarmers.

I'm thinking of  really trying to push my facebook page and blog with a giveaway - has anyone ever done such a thing and has it increased your following?

An Exciting Adventure

I think I might have found it.............

Yep my crafting mojo has returned.   And with it an exciting opportunity.  I have managed to meet some lovely ladies that are opening a café and gift shop locally.

Mooch is opening in Padiham on Saturday 8th February and I am lucky enough to be renting a space in the gift shop.

I have been crafting to my hearts content and enjoying myself at the same time.  Tonight I have been playing with some stampers and ink : ).

Despite having a poorly household we have pulled through!

I'll let you know how I go x x x x x x x x x x

Happy New Year - I am still here!

Happy New Year, I do hope you and your families have had a good holiday filled with fun.

I am debating whether to keep blogging or whether it is time "to give up a bad job".

I've just noticed that my last post was 2 months ago - naughty me.  I have just been so busy trying to fit in craft fairs that the time has passed me by.  My last fair was a week before Christmas so I am still a little frazzled and am trying to recapture my love of crafting without the deadlines and monetary connections.

This post has turned out slightly waffly I do not intent to be down in the dumps, I just need to give myself a kick up the bum and sort out what's important!
